SYNOPSIS
Brittany is a land with an aura that is surrounded by fairy tales and legends. I often travelled to this part of the country whilst being guided by the tales told by my mother. My heritage and my yearning for these stories fuelled my attachment and curiosity for this region. I have a strong fondness for the mythical forest of Brocéliande as this is the grave of my godfather as me and my siblings were baptized in the name of Merlin the Wizard.
This collection is a way of me to tell these legends and in particular the legend of King Arthur. I am transcribing the mysterious and jovial aura of Brittany through these outfits using voluminous and organic proportions as well as a palette inspired by the texture of nature. My ambition is that my collection can be read like a book with each silhouette representing a character.
